Living in all your Electric Glory - What does it mean?
ELECTRIC
GLORY
‘Magnificence or great beauty’
Allow yourself space to be creative:
Consider what being creative looks like to you. Art, music, drama, dance or movement? Making room for creativity and taking space to express yourself can not only help you make sense of yourself but also your external environment.
Take time to know you:
What makes up your identity? Give thought to what makes you you. Journalling can act as a good tool to support you to explore this. What makes you unique?
Meditation:
When our mind is quiet there is opportunity to access our inner knowledge. Meditation can also offer insights into our relationship with our thoughts, how they can make us feel & how we engage with them.
Access your feelings:
Understanding how things make us feel. Sometimes, we can feel disconnected from how we feel or what we feel. Feeling wheels available online can help you to articulate what you may be feeling. It is ok to feel, there is power in honouring your feelings.
Contemplate what is meaningful to you:
What does the word ‘meaningful’ mean to you? What lights you up? What values do you hold?
Gratitude:
Expressing gratitude for the present moment can support us to make the most of a moment. Consciously connecting to the things in our life that we are thankful for can support us to enjoy what we have as well as support us through stressful events in our life.
Hobbies:
Do you allow yourself access to the things you enjoy? Are you able to identify the things that bring you joy in life?
Seeking support:
Don’t hesitate to reach out for help when needed. Whether that’s talking to a trusted friend, joining a support group, or seeking professional guidance, remember that you don’t have to face change & challenges alone.
And remember…
Prioritise self-compassion:
Try to so be kind and patient with yourself. This doesn’t always come naturally or easily.

When you look at the Imagery, does it speak to you? In what way does the image offer opportunity for you to look at your understanding of self compassion? There’s no right or wrong…this exercise can also support you with allowing yourself to be creative in your approach to wellbeing.
